A Person of Words, Not of Deeds, is like a Garden Full of Weeds...

Why don't we trust ourselves?

Why don't we trust our instinct?

Aren't we programmed to live?

Flight or flight?

Why do we continue to protect people around us, that should be exposed?

Why do we want to help those, who cant help themselves?

Why do we give shelter to those who don't deserve it?

Why do we give to those, who never should, have ever, received a second chance, a fourth and a fifth?

We all give too many chances for redemption to those we love, but when do we put our foot down, and say those chances are draining?

When do we say, its not longer a benefit to us?

What breaks us?

When do we say no?

Is it after we have bled all our blood?

When we have nothing left to give?

We have given it our all?

Our lives?

I am feeling more and more like the Giving Tree.

I hope I can be saved before I am merely a stump.

Xoxo,

C.
